Founder’s Story — Gilbert Goh

At the heart of LoveAid Singapore is Gilbert Goh, a humanitarian and social activist deeply committed to standing with the oppressed and rebuilding lives in times of crisis.

Gilbert began LoveAid as a ground-up initiative driven purely by compassion — a mission to provide direct aid to Palestinians suffering from the devastation of war.
Under his leadership, LoveAid has grown from a small act of kindness into a nationwide movement supported by thousands of Singaporeans who believe in empathy without borders.

Where do we get the aid from when everything is closed at the borders?

We work with trusted local merchants who have their own safe ways of acquiring and delivering food and supplies. Even when borders are shut, these partners help ensure aid still reaches those in need.

How do we send in the funds to Gaza?

We use cryptocurrency to transfer funds directly and securely. It’s fast, transparent, and allows us to keep supporting families even when traditional systems are blocked.

Why do I do what I am doing - the motivation?

It’s about making the world kinder and helping those who’ve lost everything. Fostering a child taught me empathy and the value of standing with displaced children who need care and hope.
